November 3, 2020 is an important Election Day!
The 2020 Presidential Election and other important elections!
FIRST – You must be registered to vote. The deadline to register to vote in the November election is October 5, 2020. If you are 17 ½ before election day, you can REGISTER NOW- GO TO WWW.MVP.SOS.GA.GOV.
If you are already registered but have moved or had a name change, go to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov and make those changes.
SECOND – You must make a plan to vote. You have choices …
- Absentee Voting – Voting absentee means you can request an absentee ballot at www.mvp.sos.gov.
- Early Voting – In Georgia, early voting starts for the GENERAL ELECTION on OCTOBER 12 and continues through OCTOBER 30. It is an excellent way to avoid crowds. Polling locations vary in each county. There will be additional places in conjunction with those that you are already familiar with.
- Election Day Voting – NOVEMBER 3, 2020 – If you chose to VOTE on this day, please be prepared, bring a folding chair, a snack, and your patience, as First Lady Michelle Obama suggests. Lines are expected to be long.
VOTE for every category on the ballot.
VOTE for the Party you are registered.
VOTE for the incumbent if is the only name on the ballot.
VOTE for the amendments and referendums.
