October is National Clergy Appreciation Month and as the Bible reminds us to “know them who labor among you”, we pause to honor our Youth Minister, Reverend Derrick Johnson, our Minister of Pastoral Care, Reverend Laurence Parison and our Minister of Christian Education, Reverend Mark Seals, and all the associate ministers of Beulah. Thanks for all you do in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Bible also admonishes us in 1 Timothy 5:17 that “the elders who rule well” should “be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.” We give thanks and praise to God for our Pastor, the Reverend Jerry D. Black for his dedication to the Word of God and to the works of God. Thank you Pastor for being instant in season and out of season and for your commitment to vision and victory of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. And at Beulah, we never honor the man of God without honoring the woman of God. Thank you, First Lady Kate Black, for your service to Pastor Black and to the body of Christ.
