The Church is made up of people, not a building. Beulah is a church that includes a wide range of ages, singles, married couples, families, and people, from the metro Atlanta area. Every weekend we worship Him together through Sunday worship, Sunday School and live streaming. While our building may have a “mega church” feeling, we provide an intimate and friendly atmosphere, followed by dynamic praise and worship, and a relevant Word. Visit us and find out what the Beulah Experience is all about!

THE BEULAH EXPERIENCE

Beulah Missionary Baptist Church has been serving the community within Atlanta and now Decatur, Georgia for over 120 years. Under the current leadership of Pastor Jerry D. Black, Beulah is know as a strong pillar of worship throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area, the DeKalb County community, statewide, nationally and internationally. The church has  a membership that has been growing since the church was founded in 1896.  The church’s motto of “Helping You Get Where God Wants You To Be” is designed to align with the mission and vision of the church and to meet the needs of its members.

The overall mission of Beulah is to win souls for the glory of God by the teaching and preaching of God’s Word through worship services, bible study, evangelism, mission work and Christian education. This is accomplished by using the resources of the various ministries, auxiliaries and organizations of the church coupled with reaching out beyond the walls of the church into the community to benefit mankind.

What We're About

WE EMBRACE YOUR FAMILY

Building Family is one of the foundational pillars of Beulah. We provide age appropriate atmospheres for everyone in your family to enjoy worshipping the Lord and learning through His Word.

Children – Safeguarding Against Child Abuse (SACA)

The church has established a risk management program to ensure that the children of the church may worship and participate in activities without fear of any type of abuse.  Adults working with our children must attend training sessions and be certified before they are allow to interface with the children of the church.

This means parent can be assured that their children are safe as they participate in the many organizations and activities such as Sunday School, Children Church, cheerleading, basketball, swimming, Toastmaster, and many other programs.

Nursery & Preschool (Main Building)

The church provides a nursery service for parents attending the 10:45 am service.  This allows the parents to fully engage the worship experience without any worry or concern about their children.
