\nThe COVID-19 outbreak has drastically changed the way many people are used to living day to day. This new norm for some has likely brought on an increased level of stress or anxiety. While everyone reacts differently to stressful situations, here are several ways to be sure you are staying well and practicing self-care during this Pandemic:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Keep a routine \u2013 maintain a sense of normalcy – get up at the same time each morning, change out of your pajamas, and make a to-do list for the day.
\n\u2022 Avoid burning out \u2013 though extra time at home may feel like a good reason to get extra work done, set strict limits on when you work and take breaks and lunch as usual. Allow for time to unwind at the end of the day.
\n\u2022 Break up your day \u2013 find different tasks to accomplish throughout the day, and if possible, change up your environment by moving from room to room.
\n\u2022 Eat well \u2013 be sure to purchase shelf stable and frozen foods as you decrease trips to the grocery store, so you don\u2019t become reliant on takeout options as fresh foods run out.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Indulge \u2013 do something that you find pleasurable. Catch up on a TV show, read a book, or start (or finish) a project you have been putting off.

\n\u2022 Take it one day at a time \u2013 remember this is temporary! Focus on the present and make the best of today.<\/p>\n
