Congratulations to the Candy Stripe Ministry!
The Candy Stripe Ministry celebrates this week as it was founded April 30, 1998. Pastor Jerry D. Black and the Beulah Family applaud the Ministry for 28 years of exemplary service. The Ministry is a youth ministry that was established from the vision of Sister Voncile Owens. Initially the Candy Stripe Ministry provided service to the Children Church Program; then, a few years later added service to the Nursery and to the various Ministries of Beulah upon request to assist with the implementation of their programs.
We honor the founding members whose support and dedication laid the foundation for this 28-year journey. Sister Erica Johnosn is the longest leader of the Ministry.
Each member both past and present play an important role in the growth and the development of the ministry. Their participation impacted the Ministry in a great way. It touches the heart of the Ministry in a special way when our members leave us and achieve success and when our members returned and became a part of the CSM Leadership Team as with Sisters Anthanisha Britt Boswell, Charnelle Davenport Johnson, Mikenzi Pelzer and Chelsea Woods.
Congratulations to the Candy Stripe Ministry. Thursday 30th the Candy Stripe will celebrate 28 years of service!
