Becoming a Member of Beulah

Welcome to Beulah! It is our prayer that this message of hope finds you at the place where you desire to meet God for yourself, engage in a personal relationship with Him through belief in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and then welcome the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

You can become a member of the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord or by Christian experience.

Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

Committing to a relationship with the Lord is a simple as A-B-C.

A - Acknowledge

God as Lord of all, admitting that you have sinned and fallen short of His glory.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

B - Believe

To save us from the penalty of sin, which is death, God sent his son Jesus Christ to die and pay the price for our sins. Believing in Jesus brings us to the point of having eternal life, John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

C - Confess

Confessing is simply asking the Lord to save you.

Romans 10:9-10 says that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved.

Would you like to give your life to the Lord today?

If so, all you have to do is pray this simple prayer:

Lord, I thank You for being God, and I know that I have sinned before You. I believe that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I confess my sins to You and ask that You would come into my heart as I submit my life to You. Thank You for saving me!

Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord also says that you are willing to identify with His death, burial, and resurrection through water baptism. If you have been baptized, you will not need to be baptized again. If you have not been baptized, we will share more information with you regarding baptism.

Uniting by Christian Experience

Uniting by Christian experience acknowledges that you have already accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and you desire to continue your walk with the Lord as a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. To do so, you must:

Unite with Beulah as a new member.
Commit to growing in your relationship with the Lord.
Commit to participating in worship and tithing.
Complete your New Members classes.
Find your place in the Body of Christ at Beulah in order to serve others.
